I have a desktop P6772sc and I'm running Windows 7. I'm not so experienced so I hope I ask the right questions. I've bought a WD Green 4TB disk but my system on recognises it as 1.8TB. I have added it as GPT and I understand this would do the trick? I understand from searching the net that I need to set my bios to UEFI but I have absolutely no idea of how to do that and I cannot see any options in setup. I have installed the latest bios driver from HP.
Hope anybody can help with this?
Regards, Lars

Here are the original factory specs for your HP Pavilion p6772sc Desktop Computer. Based on these specs, this model uses a "Legacy" BIOS and doesn't support UEFI. Additionally, there is no UEFI BIOS available for this model and HP doesn't intend to make UEFI available on this model.
This drive cannot contain the OS or be used to boot the computer and can only be used as a data drive.
The BIOS may not recognize the full size of the hard drive, however it is possible that Windows 7 may. You will most likely need to update the Intel SATA/RAID driver to the most current version available for the Intel H57 Express Chipset. You may will need to reboot the system at least once and possibly several more times. You may need to initialize and/or partition the hard drive in the Windows "Disk Management Console".
Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) RAID Driver
