WIN 11 AND COMPAQ ELITE 8200

I HAVE 2 HP COMPAQ ELITE 8200 AIO SYSTEMS ONE WIN 10 32 BIT ONE WIN 10 64 BIT WIN 11 WORKS ON 64 BIT NOT OMN 32 BIT YET ARCHITECTURES ARE IDENTICAL

Hi:

There is no W11 32 bit edition which is why it doesn't work.

W11 comes in 64 bit only.

I also have two HP 8200 Elite CMT's and W11 64 bit works fine on both of them.

If you don't have a specific reason to have a 32 bit OS on the one 8200 Elite, clean install W11 64 bit on it and it should work fine.

When you clean install W11, when you get to the part of the installation that asks what version of W11 you want to install, select the same version of W11 that you had for W10.

Then you will be asked to enter a product key.

Select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W11 will install and automatically activate after you are connected to the internet.

Paul excuse my ignorance , a clean install of W11 on my 32 bit win 10 does this mean a purchase of win 11 not update as it will not install even after pc check thanx pepe

Since the PC was previously upgraded to W10, if you follow the instructions I posted the other day ...

You do not need to buy Windows 11.

If you want to clean install Windows 10 64 bit first and then upgrade to W11 64 bit, you can do that too.

Follow the same procedure to clean install W10.
