@cidco71,

As per your PC's specs: https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-pavilion-gaming-desktop-tg01-2170m-pc-3v2z3av-1, you can run up to 2 x 16GB 3200 MHz (DDR4-3200) • NON-ECC • UDIMM • 288-pin • 1.2V • PC4-25600 RAM.

What I am saying is, you may as well get the fastest RAM your PC is capable running -with or without flashy LED's.

I APPRECIATE THE INPUT BUT I DONT CARE ABOUT HOW FAST THE RAM IS I JUST WANT MORE RAM AND 32GB IS BETTER THEN 16GB SO CAN I RUN THE DDR4 2666 ON THIS MOTHERBOARD

@cidco71,

Yes, according to your chipset (B550A) you should be able.

Can a HP Mod concur with this statement? I dont want to take the chance of frying the board just incase, not that i am doubting you  Technical expertise @NonSequitur777. I always get a second opinion.

@cidco71,

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more!  Perhaps an HP Expert could weigh in: @old_geekster or @banhien, for example.
