Hp compaq 6005 pro sff
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Hi there,

I want to install a graphics card in my 6005 pro sff, but i am a bit confused about the one I can (or should) get. When I read the "quick specs" reference guide it states on page 13 that there are 4 amd cards available (Firepro 2270, hd 6350/6450/7450) that will fit. However, page 15 under "After Market options" and "graphics solutions" those 4 cards are NOT mentioned. Does that mean that they will not fit when installed after market? Can someone clarify? I want to get a hd 7450, but want to be sure it will run.

Hi:

I know the AMD HD 6450 low profile card will work.

The 6450 has a max power draw of less than 30W.

I just did a search and see that the max power draw of the 7450 is less than 30W, so you should be OK.

Just make sure whatever card you get is low profile and comes with the low profile mounting brackets in the box.
