When looking at Windows Control Panel\Devices and Printers, it is showing device that I'm not familiar with showing an icon USB2.0-CRW. When clicking on the icon the Hardware tab shows G drive, the memory stick dis drives such as Generic-Compact Flash USB Device, and MS/MS-Pro USB Device , and then H thru J Portable Devices (for memory sticks/), and then USB Mass Storage Device.
I don’t know why all these drives are showing in Windows Control Panel\Devices and Printers as an icon named USB2.0-CRW, because no memory sticks or mass storage are plugged into the PC? I have another HP laptop with windows 7, and the Windows Control Panel\Devices does not show this USB2.0-CRW icon, even though it has the same memory stick ports.
I hope this is not some kind of Trojan or something. Please let me know this is OK and why it this icon shows.
Thank you.
