Last week I was playing Tom Clancy's: The Division when the game unexpectedly crashed. I reloaded the game, played for a few more minutes, and then my entire PC locked up and then crashed to a blue error screen with a 😞 face stating that "Windows has encountered an error and needs to restart".
My PC then restarted, and the HP Omen X Logo screen came on stating "Attempting Recovery Repair". The screen then would cut to another 😞 blue error screen, and the whole process would start all over again. When it would do this it would give me three different error codes each time a blue screen would come up. The order appeared to be random.
The three error codes I would recieve are: "0xc0000145" "0xc0000142" and "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED"
Again, this process of switching between error screens and the HP logo "Attempting Recovery Repair" screen would loop for about 5 or 10 minutes before ending with a completely black screen.
My PC will not boot in Safe Mode and Factory Restore from the HDD partition ends up going to the aforementioned error screen loop.
I contacted HP about my situation and they have sent me USB recovery media unit. However, when I try to boot from the USB to do a clean install I am again met with the same error loop.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
