Windows 10 has been working perfectly on my machine but then in a recent update (last month), one of the big ones where the screen goes black with a percentage circle of the installation progress (the same one as when you upgrade from a previous version of Windows), after a while the screen goes a light blue colour (not the BSOD) with white lines in the middle of the screen.
I presume it is a problem with the graphics driver so I have set the option to not update drivers automatically but the problem still occurs when the PC forces the update automatically.
Has anyone else come across this issue?
It is a work PC so I'm loathed to do a fresh install as that will take a morning out of my hectic work time.
Then I have to use the F8 key and roll back to before the update, which then takes another hour or so out of my time. Why it can't just update in the background like the old days, I don't know. Any help would be appreciated. My frustration is seen in the photo below...

Greetings,
It appears your system has three possible graphics solutions available.
Intel,
Nvidia,
or AMD.
It also looks like they are graphics drivers modified by HP to work on the graphics hardware HP is using on the motherboard.
You said you are attempting to prevent the possible Microsoft graphics driver update that is messing up video.
Are you using this tool to stop the driver update?
I see no other way to stop this from happening if you are using wushowhide.diagcab but the update continues to occur.
You may have to back up data and go back to the previous factory operating system. There is no other way to stop the forced Microsoft updates on Win 10. You can defer updates on Win 10 if you upgrade to Win 10 Pro.

Thanks Jay. It's the AMD Radeon Graphics card. It's annoying as I like to keep stuff up-to-date but as the update takes so long to install and then roll back again, I don't see much choice other than to to a factory reset. I'm loathed to go back to Windows 8.1 as the rest of the office is on Windows 10.
Thanks again.
