Hello,

I have just set an image that i know is working ( used it on every other pc ive imaged lately.) but for some reason wireless on this device will not show up. I have tried every possible driver from HP and from the disk but the network controller will not take a driver. I am all out of options as the disc is not working nor any other driver i have tried. Ive even tried uninstalling the device then reinstalling it and seeing if windows update may have a driver.  I need this as it is the only way i can get this connected to our network where its going to be placed. I am currently reimaging it to see if it will take but that is trully my last option before i start thinking the wirless is broken lol. Any suggestions will help

Hi:

There is no information online regarding what model wireless network adapter your PC comes with.

Please post the hardware ID for the device you see in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller.

Then I will post the links to the wireless your PC needs.

To find the hardware ID, click on the Network Controller device.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window.

Now you will see a Property drop down list, and it will be set to Device description.

Drop down on that list and select the 2nd item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.

Hi:

That ID decodes to an Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 wireless card.

I would use the latest driver directly from Intel...2nd one down on the left side of the page for 64 bit.

That card also comes with built in bluetooth, so you will need the bluetooth driver too...
