HP Z230
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, we have upraded a couple of Z230 desktops with WD Blue 250GB solid state drives, supposedly running on SATA. The problem is that Windows automatically assigns a SCSI driver to the SSD. I am aware of some sort of issue with Windows 7 and a version of the Intel chipset. Attempting to update the driver results in the OS telling us that the best driver is installed.

Should we be happy with the SCSI driver (from 2006), which prevents use of the SSD utilities? We upgraded to SSD to get better performance on the PC, and I am concerned that this is not going to be achieved with this setup.
