I would try the Patsburg chipset driver. 

 

This package provides the Intel Patsburg Chipset Drivers for select Workstation models and operating systems. Routine update

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp65501-66000/sp65960.exe

 

That device decodes to a Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller.

 

I don't see any drivers for it under the storage drivers section.
