@Steev10

And I'll be glad to help you out.

The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.

I reviewed your post and since you want to start fresh, here's what you could do,

I recommend you delete the driver and root level and retry, follow the steps below:

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

You may then, download and install the newest driver from the Official HP Website to resolve your concern with the WiFi as well: CLICK HERE

no print.PNGThanks for taking an interest Riddle, how ever not sure if Chimney gave up, as all his suggestion totally trashed my printer. and can only hope when you have all the details you will see this issue through. Someone else from HP told to download (HPPSdr.exe), this got my printer back to normal for ONE PRINT ONLY. I then changed the paper to card it started to print 1 line then stopped, ran the diagnostic doctor see screen prints as my laptop was telling me printer offline, it would NOT print a test print via wireless network only the imternal print. So the final situation is this I can now use the usb connection to print but this is unaceptable...So all you need to do is work out why it would print once wirelessly then go offline.

Hope you are up for the challenge......test print.PNG

Thanks for the reply and providing the screenshots.

I would recommend you to uninstall the printer again using the method suggested earlier.

Install the printer back and set it up for wireless.

Once the printer is setup for wireless, please assign a static ip address to the printer. Click here for printer offline article.

  • Once you capture the IP address.
  • Enter the IP address on the web browser (Ex: chrome, IE) to enter the printer EWS page.
  • Go to the “Network” tab, click on “Wireless (802.11) then click on “Network address (IPV4)
  • Click on the radio button which says “Manual IP” and then click “Suggest a manual IP address” to give a manual IP address to your printer.
  • Click on the radio button which says “Manual DNS server” and under manual preferred type 8.8.8.8 and under manual alternate type 8.8.4.4 (This is Google DNS server address)
  • Disable IPV6 as well.

As you had mentioned that the channel was set to 6, recommend you to change it to 10 or 11. also, if possible change it 802.11 b.g only.

HP printers only work on 2.4ghz networks and not on 5ghz networks.

If the issue persists, please contact our phone support for the service options available for your printer.

Thanks for the reply, you can change the router channel by entering the default gateway address of your router on any web browser.

To get the default gateway, please open the command prompt by doing a right-click on the windows button and enter ipconfig on the command prompt window.

For assistance in understanding the router page, you can refer to this HP Article

For you me to be able to guide you better, would it be possible for you to login to the router page and provide a screenshot.
