Hello lauriej. I understand your graphics driver is becoming non-responsive.
Have you tried updating your BIOS? Here is a direct link to the latest BIOS.
Also, is this the driver you currently have installed?
Have you tried using another web browser such as Mozilla FireFox or Google Chrome to see if the issue persists across browsers?
I'll keep an eye out for your reply. I hope you have a great evening!
EDIT: Posted incorrect driver.

the driver you have link to is not for my desktop i have the H8-1534 and i did just update the driver via device manager since updating i no longer get the event id error so that is step in right direction.
the driver that was installed the driver that was listed in dxdiag was 8.17.0010.1140 dated 11/14/2012 the driver now is dated 2/19/13 and version 9.12.2.3000
i have no idea if i have the right bios i purchased the pc on 2/28 i did run the hp update after starting pc.

Sorry about that. I must have copied the wrong URL. Here is the driver for your notebook in case you need it in the future.
Now that the driver has been updated you should try playing your game and update the thread as to whether or not the problem re-arises.
I'll be watching for another response from you.

I have also been facing a similar issue. new H8-1534 machine. PC started freezing, not while using it but only after some idle time. Been on with support on four different occasions, consuming about 3 hours of troubleshooting. I am taking your advise on this one and have downloaded the original driver. All system test pass fine at the bios level. The previous driver installed was c8153544.inf
Are there known issues with this previous driver?
