Hi @isabel3, Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Forums! I came across you post and have some information to share. The HECI is Host Embedded Controller Interface which helps the Windows operating system to communicate with the motherboard chipset inside the computer. Firstly, please try a power drain on your computer by following the below steps:

1. power off the computer and disconnected all cables (Including power cable) from it.

2. Press and hold the power button on the computer for 15 seconds.
3. Reconnect the power cable, mouse and keyboard and then power it on.

If issue still persists, then suggest you to check if you can get to the BIOS by following the below steps:

1. Power off the computer.

2. Now as soon as you power on the computer, start tapping/hitting the F10 key on the keyboard. This should make the computer to boot to BIOS.

If the computer is unable to get to BIOS then I recommend you to contact HP Phone support to get a service setup for the computer. Please fill out the web form from this link to contact HP phone support: www.hp.com/contacthp

Keep us posted for any further assistance.
Cheers!
