Thats great that u are up and running. I had the same issue on my envy 20. Took out the nvidia card and the machine worked. But after inspecting the video card i wasnt convinced it was dead so i put it back in the machine. The machine would turn on but not display. It was due to the bios. Once i reset the cmos it finally booted correctly. So i updated the bios and havent had any issues since. It wasnt the card after all. But if u are happy thats all that matters.
