just brought my hp5540 and done everything correct but it is not printing wireless

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read about your HP Envy 5540 printer and you are unable to print through wireless connection.

 

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • Are you getting any error message while printing wireless?

Meanwhile:

  • Use HP Print and Scan Doctor to check connectivity.
  • Set the default printer and unpause printing.
  • Reset the printer and check the connection status.
  • Make sure the correct port is selected.
  • Update the printer firmware.

Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.

(Note: Though the title of the printer is different, these steps should fix the issue)
