how do i adjust my screen brightness touchsmart 520-1061

i have just boight a touchsmart 520-1061 & cant adjust creen brightnessi

After looking around quite a bit, this is all I could find to change the brightness of the display.

Click Start and type in the Search field Change screen saver.

Click Change screen saver in the list.

Click Change power settings.

Click the down arrow for Show additional plans, in necessary.

Click High performance. It favors performance but may use more energy.

On the bottom of the Select a power plan window there is also a screen brightness slide bar adjustment.

You go to start, search HP My Display TouchSmart Edition.

Click on the monitor with four coloured squares on it, and then adjust the brightness.
