I would like to install HP Solutions Center on my new HP computer which has Windows 8.1.  My printer is HP Officejet J6480 all in one.

Please download the following software and drivers, save on your computer (remember where) and double click the downloaded file to install:

  http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL31995/mp-109977-2/OJ_AIO_J6400_Full_Win_WW_140_408-4.exe

I downloaded the file but I do not get the hp solution center like I had with Windows Vista.  This is the program that works best for me.  With Windows 8.1 I have not been able to scan several pages and save under one file name.  I cannot get my scans to save in Adobe either.  Save as does not come up and give me a chance to give the scan a file name.

Well, it can be HP Printer Assisstant now. Can you see its icon on desktop ? Double click it to see what you have ?

I do not have that icon.\--hp printer assistant.

I can scan by clicking on scan,  I just can't scan several pages and save as one file name.    For every page I scan I have to then go to libraries pictures scans and right click and rename.  I would like to be able to scan several pages onto one file with one file name.  Nothing has worked so far.
