How do I get sound via my hp compaq elite 8300 All-In-One Displayport? I am using a StarTech diplayport adaptor to HDMI cable connected to a projector. I verified the HDMI port sound works on the projector by plugging in an Apple TV device. Just cant get sound via displayport using Media Player. Only playback device options on Computer are Speaker/Headphones and Communications headphones. Please help!

UPDATE*** I have since reinstalled Windows, and I am using windows 7 64bit, it appears the latest Intel HD Display 2500 Driver now automoatically enables audio out via displayport (intel display driver version 15.33.36.64.4226 , 64 bit version, dated 05/June/2015) without the need to install the Power Assistant. So intel have sorted it themselves. Get the Driver from intel's site.
FOUND A SOLTUTION for the 8300 Ultra Slim, copy pasting it here from the post I made
This is a solution or a work around to getting audio functionality via the Display Ports on the HP Elite 8300 Ultra Slim.
Installed the Latest Intel HD 2500 Drivers first from the Intel Website first of course
Download the HP Power Assistant Software v2.0.5.1
http://h20565.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=ob_102595_1
and install it and suddenly in the Sound settings in the Windows Control Panel you will find it now shows audio devices that are connected via the Display Ports via HDMI , weird I know but it works.
HP Customer Services told me categorically that it was not a function of the 8300 Ultra Slim supports due to the revision of dispaly port it has so I am a bit annoyed that I had to search and search and acutally fix it myself.
