Can a tower desktop be used in a horizontal position??? We recently bought a new desk and the only way it fits where space has been allocated for a desktop would require us to have it in a horizontal position. Is this ok or does it hurt the system?
Thanks!

Hi,
I would also add...
Some may think this trivial, but if I have to lay a tower on its side, I prefer to put it motherboard side down.
If you look at the back, there is an IO Shield section that all of your cords plug into, like the monitor cable, USB ports, etc.
Which ever side that sheild is on, is the side the motherboard is on.
Lay the tower down so that shield is on the bottom.
Also, if you hear something rubbing or making a clicking noise, turn off the computer and open the case to make sure a cord or something is not hitting a fan blade. This probably wont happen, but just in case. 😉
My 2 cents.
