having a problem with internet connectivity
I was gone from home for about one month
when i returned and booted up my desktop computer
there was no internet connection
the desktop is an hp pavilion model p6710f
I have Comcast cable
Arris cable modem
Trendnet router
the desktop is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable
modem and router appear to be working
my notebook has no problem connecting wireless to the router
also the notebook recognizes an Ethernet connection
I had an old USB wireless receiver
i plugged it into the desktop
it works only intermittently
i presume i have a problem with the desktop

Yes, you have. This old machine came with Windows 7 pre-installed and no network drivers for Windows 10
Please try driver for Windows 10
