HP Pavilion p6-2220t
Linux

Hi,

I need the motherboard layout for the H-Cupertino3-H61-ua TX (Cupertino3).

This page:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03329092

is missing the layout and legend.  I need to know the pinout on the front panel connector (power, hdd, etc.)

In any case, a link to a detailed repair/maintenance manual would be a big help.

Aloha!

Guess it's a standard layout, sorta.  Missing the reset button on the cable, but the pins are correct.

Big mahalos, friend.

If you know what the extra 2-pin connector is on the USB cable from the front panel is, that would be helpful, too.

Aloha.

Here is a pic, but not that helpful. Can you back trace the lead. Thinking mic lead.

HP refers to these connections as: Front Productivity Ports.
This specific model had TWO Configurations.

1.) Two USB 2.0 Type "A" ports + 1 headphone jack + 1 microphone jack
2.) 6-in-1 multimedia card reader + Two USB 2.0 Type "A" ports + 1 headphone jack + 1 microphone jack

While Intel has discontinued its production of desktop boards (2014)*,
a majority of the Taiwan-based desktop/mother board manufacturers (Asus, Asrock, MSI/Microstar, MSI, Foxconn, Pegatron, ECS/EliteGroup, SuperMicro) have followed the Intel guidelines, while incorporating their own interpretations.

In looking at the Front Productivity Adapter, HP # 657122-002 --- the 2-pin connector shown
is very likely for the HDD Activity LED at the motherboard's Front Panel 9-pin (2x5) header.

In addition, this specific Foxconn H-Cupertino3-H61-uATX (Code Name: Cupertino3) motherboard
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03329092

Has to a special 2-pin connector, for a WLAN Activity LED installed in the 1x Mini-PCIE
It is adjacent to the PCI Express Mini Card x1 expansion slot.

This 2-pin header is used in HP cases that feature a Wireless LAN Activity LED (some S5000 Slimline cases), and have the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n PCI Express Wireless Dual Band 2 x 2 with Bluetooth Option installed in that PCI Express Mini Card slot.
