mscomctl.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctlyregistered a file is missing or invalid

This is getting me down

Any ideas of a fix please

I see from the post that you are getting mscomctl.ocxfile missing on your HP PC. Don't worry I'll try my best to help you with this,

 

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Could you provide me with the Product number and the Operating System installed on the PC? Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...)

Have you made any changes on the PC before the issue started?

Where do you exactly get this error message?

 

Could you please elaborate more on this issue as this will help me in further assisting you?
