Welcome to this forum.

 

Can you borrow a mouse, and connect it into a USB port on your computer, wait a few seconds for Windows to install the device-driver software for the mouse, and then left-click on that mouse, to see if it works?

 

By the way, do you have a desktop computer with an external mouse, a laptop computer with a "touch-pad", or an "all-in-one" computer with a touch-screen? 

 

Model-number of your computer?
