My computer crashed.... (some Files were lost/deleted or ??) cannot reboot desktop... only black screen.
Now to the point that only option is a complete factory re-set. (I have already backed up all my files from my Desk Top Computer HD onto an external HD, to reload once a reset can be done.)
BUT, when I try to do a reset I get a partition error message that will not allow a reset to be done. So, at this poiit it appears I need a windows 10 operating sytem installation disk/download.... Which I do not have. The Windows 10 was preloded on my computer, when I purchased it... and so did not get an installation disk.
Question: Where do I find/get an Installation Disk or a download... and will it cost me to purchase one, since I already had one on the New computer that I purchased (now 2 yrs old/out of warranty)
Any assistance, Info will be greatly appreciated. (this has been a night mare.. for about 2 weeks... ) hope someone can help ( to make this more stressful... I just got out of hospital with Hear Attack.. after a week of treatment)
Thanks a million for your kind attention.

Hi:
According to the product specs for your PC, it originally came with Windows 8.1 from the factory.
So, the only recovery media HP sells for your model is for W8.1.
I don't know what that would cost, since I don't work for HP, but probably somewhere in the neighborhood of $30.00.
However, you can make your own W10 installation media by using the Media Creation Tool at the link below, to reinstall W10.
