We have a t5325 thin client we use to RDP to machines. Most of our machines have Windows 7 , and the RDP function works fine to those machines.

We have recently received some Windows 8 machines. When we use the thin client's RDP to remote to those machines, there is no mouse cursor. You can click , but you are guessing where the mouse is at. It is basically invisible but still active.

I am not sure if this is because that thin client doesn't support RDP to Windows 8 machines or if it something with that machine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hello Ross,

I have a problem something, among all HP t5325 and a Windows 2012 R2 server. Initially, the mouse seems blocked or disappeared, I changed the video settings and looks a little better. I also updated the firmware and the native operating system within the Thin Client but remained unchanged.
The mee biggest problem is you can not select text or other objects, nor do drag and drop. I have written a post and you can see it here:

I think there is an incompatibility between Windows 8 or 2012 and t5325. However I find nothing that says, in addition to unable to call HP about it.

Best regards,

Hi

We have this invisible cursor problem on HP t5325 when connecting to Windows Server 2012 R2.

Can you please let me know what setting you changed to get back the cursor to normal.

Thanks..
