I have a Pavillion 500-314 wth a AMD Radeon R7 display card,

My question is will this PC be able to display on two monitors? If so...how do I set it up to do so? There are only two display ports on the back a VGA and a DVI. What do I need to do in order to have two monitors each capable of displaying a different program.

Thanks,

According to the specs of your HP Pavilion 500-314 Desktop Computer, this model doesn't contain a discrete graphics card. Instead, it uses integrated graphics power by the AMD Kaveri Quad-Core A8-7600 APU. This model has a DVI-D (digital only) and a VGA (analog only) port. These ports can be used at the same time for dual monitors.

Connect as follows;

Computer ---> DVI-D cable ---> Monitor #1 (with DVI-D port)

Computer ---> VGA cable ---> Monitor #2 (with VGA port)

I use  USB to DVI External Dual or Multi-Monitor Video Adaptor from StartTech to get the two monitors to display.
