Hi @LibardoP
It sounds like you’re trying to remap the side button on your HP 430 wireless mouse using the HP Accessory Center, Let me help you.
Here’s how you can do that:
Open HP Accessory Center: Launch the HP Accessory Center on your computer.
Select Your Mouse: Click on your HP 430 wireless mouse to access its settings.
Go to Button Configuration: Look for the option that allows you to customize buttons or remap them. This is usually found under the Buttons section.
Select the Button to Remap: Click on the side button you want to change.
Assign a New Function:
- Instead of recording a keystroke, look for an option that allows you to directly assign the Alt key function. There might be a dropdown menu or a list of functions you can select from.
- If you only see options for recording sequences, check for a section that allows you to assign single keys or functions.
Save Changes: Once you’ve assigned the Alt key to the button, make sure to save your changes.
Test the Button: Try using the side button to ensure it now functions as the Alt key.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
