I have a x27i monitor that should be able to run 1440p at 144hz. I have an Xbox series x connected to it through HDMI 2.0. I have to choose between 1080p at 120hz or 1440p at 60hz, but I cannot run 1440p at 120 which the Xbox and monitor should both support. I have seen a lot online about this issue and realize no normal settings will fix this problem. Is there any way to bypass this or download something that will allow me to run the preferred resolution?

Have you tried HDMI 2.1 cable ?
Regards.
