Hey,

I recently got the X32 monitor and since I´m working late, I wanted to lower the brightness. For some reason I can't do it through the windows settings, so I tried to do it through the monitor's own menu you can enter by pressing the side buttons. Now, when I did that, I saw that the brightness changing option has a darker tint, meaning I couldn't even select it. Do any of you have an idea as to why that is? And how I can fix this? I just newly got this monitor and I couldn't find anything about this on the internet either.

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP X32 QHD Gaming Monitor cannot lower the brightness.

Sometimes monitor settings can’t be saved using the OSD button and reset to the default settings after the monitor is turned off and on. To resolve this issue, change your monitor settings using OMEN Gaming Hub.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update the HP X32 LCD Monitor Driver from HP.COM.
  • For further settings please visit this link

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
