Hi @sjwilson1,

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

When looking for a capture card to use with your HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC 15-eh3000, it's important to consider compatibility in terms of connections (such as USB ports) and your specific needs for capturing video. Here are some popular options that should work well with your laptop:

Recommended Capture Cards:

Elgato HD60 S+:

  • Offers USB 3.0 connectivity for fast data transfer.
  • Supports 4K capture with HDR passthrough.
  • It is user-friendly with simple setup and compatibility with popular streaming platforms.

AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus:

  • Portable with plug-and-play capabilities using USB connection.
  • Supports 4K video pass-through while capturing 1080p full HD.
  • Ideal for easy portability and does not require a PC to operate.

Razer Ripsaw HD:

  • Allows for 4K passthrough with 1080p capture.
  • Compatible with PC and consoles, offering flexibility in use.
  • Features USB 3.0 connectivity for low-latency streaming.

Considerations:

  • Connection Type: Ensure your laptop has the necessary USB ports, preferably USB-C or USB 3.0 for optimal performance.
  • Capture Resolution: Determine whether you need 1080p or 4K capture based on your content requirements.
  • Software Compatibility: Check if the capture card software is compatible with Windows 11 and suits your streaming or recording needs.

These options offer a variety of features and price points, making them suitable for different requirements and budgets.

I hope this helps.
