HP Laptop 15-bs2xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I am trying to connect my Magic Mouse 2 (2015) device to my laptop, and it seems to be having issues. I tried on my sisters laptop just last night, and she has almost the exact same laptop as me. Hers doesnt have a CD port, mine does. It took about ten-fifteen minutes on her laptop, but eventually it connected. I've been trying for over two hours now, and it still won't stay connected when I disconnect the cord.

When I plug the mouse in, it will show up in "Mouse. keyboard, & pen", but it doesn't pair. I've already tried everything I could find on the web, which wasn't much. The most, and least, helpful thing I could find was a magic utilities website. It basically told me to do the exact same thing the mouse guide told me to do: "turn on the mouse, turn on Mac/Windows Bluetooth, wait one minute, remove cord, your mouse is now connected, yay!!" Only... mine isn't, obviously.

If anyone has a solution, I would very much appreciate it. I am asking both here and on the HP Support page. Thank you for helping if you're able.
