How to disable LEFT + RIGHT button combination for switching DPI? Worst mouse ever! Absolutely useless in games. Can't imagine level of stupidity to design this piece of crap.

Hi @homopoluza,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Wireless Mouse 250. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

Please follow the steps to know How to change your mouse DPI on a PC

  • Click on the "Start" menu and select the "Settings" icon.
  • How_to_change_mouse_DPI_1
  • Click on "Settings" in the Start menu

  • On the Settings page, click on "Devices."
  • How_to_change_mouse_DPI_2
  • Go to "Devices."

  • On the Devices page, click on "Mouse."
  • How_to_change_mouse_DPI_3
  • You'll find "Mouse" in the menu on the left.

  • On the Mouse page, click on "Additional mouse options" under "Related settings."
  • How_to_change_mouse_DPI_4
  • Changing mouse DPI is done in "Additional mouse options."

  • In the "Mouse Properties" pop-up, click on "Pointer Options."
  •
  • Use the slider under "Select a pointer speed" to adjust DPI. Sliding it to the left lowers DPI while sliding it to the right increases DPI.
  • How_to_change_mouse_DPI_5
  • Drag the "Pointer Speed" slider to adjust your DPI, then test it.

  • When the slider is where you want it, click "Apply" at the bottom. When the "Apply" button turns gray, meaning there are no additional changes to confirm, click on the "X" in the top right corner to close it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
