HP Recommended

2 monitors, one hdmi outlet in laptop, using a dock, but it does not read a second monitor hdmi.

What is your machine ? What is your dock. Most likely your machine is NOT compatible with your dock. You can use 2 external monitors:

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter
