Zbook 14u G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This question is about Zbook 14u G5, specifically the 2ZC34EA#AK8 build.

The laptop has a Thunderbolt 3 connector, but does it support external graphics (eGFX/eGPU) over that?

(For example the Razer Core X enclosure, with some GPU card. The intention is primarily for gaming, not professional graphics use.)

If at all possible, do you think it would be useful and do you have any specific advice when considering this?

I have the same compatibility question for the Zbook 15 G5 ( 2ZC40ET#ABH )

It has two thunderbolt 3 connectors, 4 lanes... so far looking good. But is the HP TB3 firmware compatible with Razor Core X?

I know the Graphic card will perform better in a desktop PCIe slot, because it has more lanes and therefore more throughput. But after all I expect more performance than my Quadro P2000 wil deliver.
