Reverb G2
Microsoft Windows 11

Bought a EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 BLACK GAMING, 24G-P5-4981-KR.

It will not recognize the Reverb G2 in VR while playing MSFS 2020.

Hooked up My Oculus Quest 2 and it is recognized and works fine.

System:

Win 11, Ryzen 5800X, SSD drives. Nvidia 512.16 drivers

 I assume the Reverb G2 or the video card drivers need to be tweaked for this pair to work.

I'm having similar issue.  Received my headset is not recognized by the RTX 3090 TI as well.  I've received a response back from EVGA support and they basically stated that this issued has been made aware and that it is not an isolated issue to EVGA cards.  A future driver update from Nivida is expected soon.

@Scoopist@Hollahard,

Here's a DCS Forum discussion related to your issue, perhaps it is useful to you: Help with Reverb G2 RTX 3090 settings - Virtual Reality - ED Forums (dcs.world).

Thanks for the suggestion, but it doesn't work for the TI version of the 3090.

@Hollahard,

All right, specific to your EVGA RTX 3090-Ti: There is a lot of web discussion on this issue -you are certainly not alone: https://www.reddit.com/r/WindowsMR/comments/tvdpgm/rtx_3090_ti_not_compatible_with_windows_mixed/ and here: https://www.reddit.com/r/HPReverb/comments/tu80hj/g2_v2_and_3090_ti/, for example.

Users are indeed frustrated. Examples: "HP is saying it's not their problem, either. That leaves only Microsoft or Nvidia to take responsibility since EVGA also washed their hands of blame." and: "It's apparently an incompatibility between the EVGA 3090Ti and the HP Reverb G2."

A presumed reply from EVGA support, quote:

"Hello, Thank you for reaching out. This appears to be a driver or firmware issue. You will need to wait for your VR headset manufacturer to issue the firmware or Nvidia to assist with a driver update to fix the compatibility. We apologize for the inconvenience. Regards, EVGA"

Kind Regards,
