Laptop name and version: HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp011dx
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz
RAM: 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
I want to make my laptop a little more decent for gaming, I only want to play one game on which is GTA 5 RP (FiveM), I can run the game but it runs poorly on low settings, so I went and bought a "gaming box" and I got a Razor Core X I haven't gotten a Graphic card yet for it because I wanted to make sure it works. The problem I'm facing right now is that every time I plug in the Thunderbolt 3 cable to my laptop I get a error message that says "Thunderbolt Device Functionality might be Limited". Now I don't know if the problem is that my laptop is not compatible with external graphic cards or I have to do something that I don't know about. I searched all over online and found nothing about my specific laptop. I read that as long as I have a Type C slot on my laptop I'm good to go, but it doesn't seem like it in my situation. Please help!!!!

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05567133
It does not have internal nor external port which is fast enough for an eGPU.
Regards.
