HP Windows Mixed Reality Headset VR1000 Series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

What is the correct field of view that the consumer mixed reality headset has? I find conflicting numbers on the web.

Hi @Jpe1701

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

I understand you have questions regarding the Filed of View of your Mixed Reality Headset.

You can enjoy a 100-degree field of view when you pair the HP Windows Mixed Reality Headset with a Windows Mixed Reality Ultra PC or a 90-degree field of view when you pair it with a Windows Mixed Reality PC.

Thank you. 🙂

Thank you! I think a lot of the reviews online are using the developers model and are saying the headset has a 95 degree fov. I am excited to try mine but I'm waiting for a displayport to HDMI adapter to arrive.

Hi @Jpe1701

The field of view will be either 100- Degree Field or 90- Degree Field depending on the Mix Reality PC.

I'm glad we are able to sort this out. Do visit our HP Forums and drop us a Message anytime you need help.

Thank you. 🙂
