Product: ExampHP ENVY TouchSmart 23se-d394 All-in-One Desktop PCle:
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I am trying to connect a 2nd monitor via the HDMI port but a message reads "no signal."  I understand the HDMI is input only, but can it be changed to output, also?  If not, what is the preferred USB to video connector recommended?

Machine has HDMI in on the right side (port #2)

 

 

No, connection TWO in ports together won't give you anything and you can't change

 

Option: If you wish you can use USB-HDMI adapter to connect to an external monitor
