HP 935 Creator Wireless Mouse
iOS

I'm having a problem with the HP 935 Creator Wireless Mouse recently purchased from HP.com. The mouse has a USB connection (dongle) and 2 Bluetooth connections, meaning it's a multi-device mouse, which is the main reason I chose to buy the model where you can change the connection by simply pressing an easily accessible button. The goal was to use it for both my laptop and my iPad (both used on the same table). I can connect it perfectly via USB to the Win 11 laptop. When I connect it for the first time via Bluetooth to the iPad using pairing mode, the mouse works perfectly. The cursor works and moves on the iPad screen. The clicks respond to commands. However, if I change the connection to USB and then return to Bluetooth, a failure occurs. It takes a long time to reconnect, and when it actually reconnects, the mouse has no action on the iPadOS 18. The cursor doesn't move, the buttons don't respond to commands, absolutely nothing happens. I can only get it to work again if I delete the existing pairing from the iPad settings and reconnect by putting the mouse back into pairing mode. I would like to know if anyone has faced this similar situation or if I need to know if the mouse is not supported to work on Apple systems and I can take advantage of the 30 days to return the product and claim my money back.
