Hi,
My Gaming Keyboard k130 stopped working and is no longer recognized when plugged on the USB socket. I tried to register it on my HP account, but the website says the serial number is invalid. It also does not recognize the product number. I am positive I am inserting the right number, but the website simply does not recognize it. Looking over the forum, I can see that many people have had this same issue with other products.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to contact the support without a "valid serial number", and since the problem is the serial number not being accepted, I am left without my warranty.
I need someone from HP to kindly contact me so we can get this sorted.

Welcome to the HP User Community.
Serial numbers for Accessories (for example, mice, pens, keyboards) are not always available in the database used by the case submission to validate Warranty.
What?
Doesn't matter - short answer: Not your fault.
Hold on to your Warranty information and your receipt.
I will forward your concern to the moderator group so someone can take a look..
