So I've been thinking of getting an eGPU to my laptop and I'm not sure if it's compatible with an external dock (such as DEG1).
In manual it says that it *might* be compatible due to having a Thunderbolt properties but it doesn't specify which generation it is (1,2,3 or 4). I haven't been able to find anyone with the same laptop running an eGPU.
So my question is: Is this laptop capable of running an external GPU?
Laptop model: HP Envy x360 14-fc0084nw

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP Envy x360 14-fc0084nw does indeed have 1 Thunderbolt 4 with USB Type-C.
And yes, your HP Envy x360 14-fc0084nw can run an external GPU via USB4, but it’s essential to use USB4-compliant eGPU enclosures.
