Hi,
Can a HP rep please contact me. My HP OMEN is not being detected by the OMEN app.
The device is working no problem. It detects, does a brief windows install, detects the graphics card and installs graphics drivers.
The problem is, is that the OMEN app doesn't detect the OMEN accelerator so it doesn't load - then i cannot switch the display to use the main monitor.
If i plug a monitor directly into the OMEN it all works correctly so it doesn't seem to be a hardware issue.
I think the main issue is that the omen firmware updater doesn't work
when i click update in the official updater it comes up with an error saying "contact HP support"
Specs are:
late 2012 apple imac with win 10 pro in boot camp
omen accelerator
apple thunderbolt 3 adaptor to thunderbolt 2
asus gtx 3050 8gb
Things i have tried:
uninstall bootcamp drivers
follwed ALL (all instructions on hp website..)
installed all HP support software on the OMEN page
installed latest gfcs drivers
updated windows
reinstalled the omen software
pluged in and out the omen multiple times and restarted omen software
i have attached screenshots of the error messages

Hi,
here is info:
OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044
System Model iMac13,2
System SKU [Personal Information Removed](serial off OMEN)
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Apple Inc. 429.0.0.0.0, 18/03/2022
the 3050 currently has an exclamation mark becuase i dont have the second monitor pluged in. if i plug a monitor in to the 3050 it all works and has no errors. at the moment i dont have the monitor plugged in because if i do the computer uses the 3050 as the display and i get a blank screen, hence the app doesnt work to swap the screen over. the exclamation mark on device manager just says reinstall drivers.
on side not: when i open the OMEN app it comes up with an error saying "realtek lightweight filter" driver is not installed
i found a work around with some third party drivers and it opens, but that may also be an issue. i have also attached the error
Thanks!
