OMEN X 25f 240Hz Gaming Display

Hello, I bought this HP Omen X 25F monitor. I am running it at 240hz while playing cs:go. 

 

My PC gives +300fps, and very rarely goes under 240fps so the frame rates are not an issue here.

 

When I move in the game the picture goes very sharp and when i stop it goes back to normal. It is a very annoying issue and I want to know if there is a fix for it. Can you guys please help me?

 

I read about this issue and some people said it happens in some 240hz monitors and its something about vertical lines. I do not have a demonstration screen records since I dont think its shows in a recording.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are getting issues with the omen display, I am glad to assist you.

Update the Bios, chipset, and drivers using HP Support Assistant.

Download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here

 

  • HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
  • Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
  • Click Updates in the My notebook pane
  • Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  •  Updates list in HP Support Center
  • Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  • Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  • Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also, ensure Windows is up to date.

  • Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
