HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset

Hello

I have been trying to get my reverb g2 to work properly, as it kept disconnecting the audio part constantly.

What I have tried so far is downloading the Firmware updater, but since it kept disconnecting it did not work

Then I disconnected all other audio devices from my pc, and only connected the vr headset

At this point I came across this and tried to install it

https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/7053498098460-HP-Reverb-G2-headset-not-recogni...

Now somewhere in all this the audio part of the headset stopped initializing with the computer, so now there is nothing in Sound when I connect the headset and also the sound does not go over to the headset

I have even purchased the new cable in hope that would bring back the audio, but no such luck

Do you have any advice on how I can get the audio part of the headset to work again?

The device has video and respond with the controllers, only sound is missing
