HP Reverb G2

Reverb Controllers wont connect They are paired and have worked before when I first setup but now having issues I thought I could just remove the device from my bluetooth devices but it wont let me remove them I keep getting the failed to remove device message I tried holding the pairing button and windows key to reset but as it wont unpair from windows that was useless Windows and drivers are updated. Im trying to use with steam vr but thought it was the issue so opened in WMR and still nothing any help is appreciated thanks.

Problem solved, I had to manually remove the device from the registry editor press windows button and R and followed this path.

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BTHPORT\Parameters\Devices

and then I removed it in the device manager (mine was hidden, click "view" and then "show hidden devices") but it still was showing on my bluetooth devices in the start menu so I did a hard reset shut the pc down and removed power for 30 seconds and after i powered back on they were no longer on the device list and I was able to repair and now they work as expected I also should note that in the middle of this I reinstalled windows Mixed Reality and Steam VR incase I was missing any drivers for the controllers so I could have potentially solved some of this issue there but it seems like this is a very common issue with the Reverb hopefully this helps somebody.
