Does HP have plans to keep the headset alive after Microsoft's decision or will I have a €600 brick at home at the end of the year after less than two years of use!?

Microsoft have announced that the next major Windows 11 update (24H2) which is currently in preview will exclude the Window Mixed Reality Portal completely. So your G2 and my G2 wont work any more. This is confirmed by those who have the preview build.
