 I managed to update the firmware of my mainboard. It´s supposed to adress some USB issue. For someone who has never done this before it is no trivial task. However, the next days will show if it did someting...

Hi, sadly i have to report that the firmware update of my mainboard, which is supposed to fix some USB issues, did nothing to resolve the error 1-4 of the reverb g2. I am still getting random disconnects following the error code 1-4.

I think hp delivered a product that has some serious compatibility issues or a poorly produced cable.

sorry about your problems. Did you try a new cable to connect the headset?

 

I got AMD, but I'm going to check bios about that usb setting you mentioned earlier, but don't see how anything can get higher than the usb-c on the Nvidia gpu.

Strangely this might still be a usb power related problem. I turned down the volume to 40 and had no problems for some hours now.
