I got an HP reverb G2 V1 last year. Earlier this year, I had to buy a replacement cable since the headset was out of warranty. The cable has stopped working again, and when I looked up the cable serial number nothing pops up.
Is the cable under warranty? I'm not getting an error, the headset just isn't turning on anymore and I'm getting prompted to plug in my heatset in WMR portal. I tried a powered USB hub, verifying the integrity of the drivers, and of course I tried turning everything off & on / unplugging & replugging everthing
Calling HP support was unhelpful and frankly pretty unpleasant. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

From one user to another, to cut to the chase: I'm afraid there is no warranty on your G2 cable. You'll have to search here and there (eBay, AliExpress, etc.) to find a new replacement cable, such as this purchase example: NEW Genuine HP VR 1 Meter Cable for HP Reverb G2 VR headset | eBay.
