HP Reverb G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I have an HP Reverb G2 which has suddenly stopped working - Error code 7-13 (headset connected to an incompatible USB controller). I've had this headset since the beginning of December, and it's been working fine with a PCIe card. I've tried it on all available USB ports, including an external powered USB hub that also used to work, and I still get an error. There isn't any light on the headset, but the switch box has a light. I've already checked that the main cable to connected okay to the headset.

Any ideas of things to try, or anyone with a similar experience, much appreciated. Am planning to phone HP support tomorrow.

Read my previous post, it tells you how to reset your USB ports. Just do what it says and if that doesn't work it could be the headset itself unless you are having USB device manager errors ect ..

Thanks for the reply - unfortunately that didn't work, so I think there's a fault with the headset itself. I also tried it on another PC and had the same error. I've sent details to HP Support, so hopefully I'm in the RMA queue now.
