HP Reverb gen 2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello guys,

I've had this replacement headset for about 3-4 months now and everything was doing well. Now today I was playing a game, and my system locked up. What was strange is that my system wouldn't boot. Somehow the bootsequence got changed. (Now this wasn't the weirdest thing)

What was very odd is that my TV wouldn't get a signal, just had  a black screen, BUT Reverb was turning on before the computer even booted into windows. (it showed a gray screen most the time) after a few restarts my bios was showing in my Reverb headset? My headset never turned on BEFORE booting into windows and starting the mixed reality portal. This already struck me as odd. I managed to change the boot order within the headset.

Now I got back into windows and after starting the mixed reality portal I immediately noticed 2 things. The display gets very blurry when moving my head and the screen brightness seems much brighter suddenly which also seems to make the headset run alot warmer than usual. (kinda hurts my eyes) the quality of the screen does seem better when I keep my head still (although maybe this is just an illusion)

Anyone have an idea what could be the issue?

EDIT: just noticed another strange issue. Normally when I close the Windows Mixed Reality portal the headset turns itself off, and screen goes black. Now that gray screen stays on constantly until I turn my computer off completely.

Fixed the issue myself so far by completely removing the mixed reality portal software and reinstalling it. So far it seems back to normal.
